While most people are bystanders and not standing up or acting out towards a better future for our youth, Philadelphia Dentistry and Dr. Ken Cirka changed that. On May 27th we changed the lives of LGBTQ+ teens by paying for 500 teenagers to prom at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. This one small action changed the lives of so many by giving these prom-goers the opportunity to have experienced a milestone in their teenage life.
Along with sending 500 LGBTQ+ to prom, Dr. Cirka also paid for 35 LGBTQ students to see the movie “Love, Simon.” The students loved the movie so much that they each sent Dr. Cirka a handwritten letter thanking him.
